About the Role

We are seeking a versatile, proactive Technology Analyst to join our team in the beautiful Okanagan. This comprehensive role spans the full spectrum of IT support, from troubleshooting daily user issues (Level 1) to managing complex server and network infrastructure (Level 2). You will be the backbone of our technical operations, ensuring high system uptime and exceptional user experiences.

Primary Responsibilities

• End-to-End Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for L1-L2 support tickets, resolving hardware, software, and network issues.

• Infrastructure Management: Administer and maintain Windows Servers, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and cloud environments (Azure/AWS).

• System Optimization: Proactively identify system bottlenecks and implement L2-level solutions to improve system performance.

• On-site Support: Travel on-site for occasional visits and resolve issues that cannot be addressed remotely.

• Documentation: Maintain an accurate “how-to” guide and technical documentation for internal use. Document every ticket meticulously, clearly outlining the resolutions.

• Technical Requirements: Proficiency in all Windows versions, Windows Server, Virtualization (Hyper-V/VMware), and Networking (DNS, VPN), O365, Azure, and VOIP. Knowledge of firewalls and switching will be an asset.

• Tools: Experience with Datto RMM, PSA, and IT Glue will be good to have.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Experience: 2-3 years in a technical support or systems administration role.

• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical staff.

• Local Requirement: A valid BC Class 5 Driver’s License and a reliable vehicle for occasional travel within the Kelowna region with a clean driving record.
